    In recent years, there has been an exponential growth in the field of scientific computing and deep (machine) learning. Both areas have seen tremendous advances that have greatly impacted a wide range of applications in areas such as biology, physics, engineering, and finance, to name a few. Despite this, there is still a gap between the two fields, as researchers in each field may not fully understand the tools, techniques, and methods of the other. It is crucial for researchers and practitioners in both fields to stay up to date with the latest developments and best methods in these areas. This workshop aims to bring together experts from both scientific computing and deep learning to discuss the latest developments and innovations in each field and to explore potential areas of collaboration. The workshop will provide a platform for attendees to learn about the latest techniques, tools, and applications in scientific computing and deep learning, as well as to engage in discussions and networking opportunities with their peers.

    研讨会计划邀请全球范围内在科学计算和深度学习领域活跃的资深专家和年轻学者,彼此间分享研究结果、交流想法,讨论具有挑战性的问题和发展战略机遇,研究未来的方向。本次研讨会还将为来自中国和其他国家的专家学者在这些领域的广泛互动提供理想的交流平台。

    The proposed workshop plans to bring active senior and young researchers worldwide in the field of scientific computing and deep learning to exchange ideas on their current research, to discuss possible new strategies for addressing challenges in these fields, and to investigate future directions. This workshop will also provide an ideal platform for extensive interactions between experts from China and other countries in these areas.

    本次研讨会将为来自科学计算和深度学习的研究人员提供一个独特的机会,彼此面对面讨论最新进展,探索潜在的合作领域,并确定未来工作的挑战和机遇。研讨会期间将进行的思想和知识两个层面的跨学科交流对所有与会者都会很有裨益,并将有助于推动这两个领域的进一步融合发展。我们相信,这次研讨会对所有与会者来说将是一次宝贵的经历,并将有助于激发新的想法和新的合作。

    This workshop will provide a unique opportunity for researchers from both scientific computing and deep learning to come together to discuss recent advances, explore potential areas of collaboration, and identify challenges and opportunities for future work. The interdisciplinary exchange of ideas and knowledge that will take place during the workshop will be valuable for all attendees and will contribute to further advances in both fields. We believe that this workshop will be a valuable experience for all attendees and will help to spur new ideas and collaborations.
